"OLDIES....BUT GOODIES"

After this week’s completed games, which contradicted everything I said in my NBA TOP 10 Rankings last week, I am realizing that I need a new method to my madness. If you look at my rankings from last week, I have completely flip-flopped my #1-#4 teams, which raises some questions: WHICH SHOULD HOLD MORE WEIGHT, A WIN, OR LOSS? SHOULD BEATING ANOTHER TOP-10 TEAM HOLD MORE WEIGHT? (which would alternately mean that losing to another Top-10 team would hold less weight) I have yet to come up with a method that satisfies all of these scenarios, so I will have to leave my rankings up to my personal feelings about each team. Regardless, with the Playoffs literally WEEKS away, this season is shaping up to be as exciting as any that we’ve witnessed lately.

2(+2) Last Week: 4 HEAT

40-15

3-1

3(-1) Last Week: 2 BULLS

43-14

 1-2Wins: Celtics

Losses: Rockets, Knicks

It’s good to have D-Rose back, but the Bulls seemed content on watching him play, rather than helping him win
4(-3) Last Week: 1 THUNDER

41-15

 1-3

Wins: Raptors

Losses: Memphis, Heat, Pacers

A hard plunge this week for the former #1 ranked team.
5(–) Last Week: 5 LAKERS

35-22

2-2

Wins: Nets, Clippers

The Lakers have several inter-personal problems right now. Luckily for them, they are right in the middle of the “GOOD” and “VERY GOOD” teams
6(–) Last Week: 6 CLIPPERS34-22 3-1

The Clippers had a better record than the Lakers last week, but they also lost to them. For theat, I left both of them alone
7(–) Last Week: 7 PACERS34-22 3-1

Wins: Knicks, Wizards, Thunder

Losses: Celtics

Indy remains steady in their course to make the Playoffs. It’s simple: BEAT the teams you are supposed to beat, and pull a few UPSETS
8(+1) Last Week: 9 GRIZZLIES32-23 4-1Wins: Thunder, Warriors, Heat, Mavericks

This team is clicking at the right time. Look at their competition this week…and look at the outcome!

It’s simple: they are moving up, because they keep winning, and teams above them keep losing

This week, the C’s gave BACK many of the big wins they had the week before
