Texans

They still impress week to week, but the real tests begin this week.
2
Falcons
5-0

When a team, and more specifically a QB, learns how to win tough games…watch out!
3
49ers
4-1
Last Week: 3
Change: –
I said it last week, I’ll say it again. This is the most COMPLETE team in the league. (I actually think their Week 3 loss helped them)
4
Ravens
4-1
Last Week: 4
Change: –
This is another team that has seemingly found a way to do enough NOT to lose games.
5
Bears
4-1
Last Week: 9
Change: +4
This was a matter of preference. Chicago has a strong “D”, while the Pats have a strong “O”. I’ll take the team with a defense that can score, and a decent offense.
6
Patriots
3-2
Last Week: 7
Change: +1
 (See above notes)
7
Giants
3-2
Last Week: 10
Change: +3
They exhibit the “next man up” mentality better than any other team.
8
Vikings
3-2
Last Week: 14
Change: +6
Not playing the toughest teams right now, but their “D” looks good, they can run the ball, and their QB isn’t making mistakes.
9
Cardinals
4-1
Last Week: 5

I expected an “L” to come soon…just not as soon as to the Rams.
10
Steelers
2-2
Last Week: 16
Change: +6
They won the Penn State showdown, and showed that their defense can still control football games.
11
Eagles
3-2
Last Week: 6

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers.
12
Packers
2-3
Last Week: 8

The 49ers loss, OK. The Seahawks loss, blame replacement referees. But the Colts loss???
13
Chargers
3-2
 Last Week: 11
Change: -2
They showed that they can get the job the job done. They just don’t do it for 60 minutes.
14
Bengals
3-2
Last Week: 12
Change: -2
I expected a little better from them this week. Maybe that was my fault for thinking they were better.
15
Seahawks
3-2
Last Week: 15

Did enough to win. Their defense is the top-rated in the league right now.
16
Broncos
2-3
 Last Week: 13
Change: -3
If this team would stop waiting until the 2nd half to play football, they would be DANGEROUS.
17
Cowboys
2-2
Last Week: 17

Not the best week to be IDLE. With 2 of 3 teams in their division losing, they could’ve gained some ground. But they also didn’t hurt themselves.
18
Rams
3-2
Last Week: 19
Change: +1
No matter how you cut it, this team is 1 game off the lead in their division, and putting up some impressive performances.
19
Dolphins
2-3
 Last Week: 24
Change: +5
Their entire RUN game is their winning ticket. (their ability to RUN and STOP THE RUN)
20
Redskins
2-3
Last Week: 18

If RGIII doesn’t learn how to protect himself, and the ‘Skins don’t get him help, he we will be another Michael Vick in a few years.
21
Colts
2-2
Last Week: 31
Change: +10
I know Luck’s first NFL win had to be sweet, but a game-winning 4th quarter drive to beat the best QB in the league….PRICELESS.
22
Lions
1-3
Last Week: 21
Change: -1
I hope this team, the DEFENSE specifically, figured some things out on their week off.
23
Saints
1-4
Last Week: 28

Record-breaking game. Coach in the building. Finally 1 in the “W” column.
24
Jets
2-3
Last Week: 22
Change: -2
This team showed they still have fight left in them. With Revis out, I expected them to crumble against the Texans’ offense.
25
Bills
2-3
Last Week: 20
Change: -5
My 20th ranked team has fallen 5 spots in the last 2 weeks. Must be poison. The Bills just seem to fall apart in the 4th quarter of every game.
26
Buccaneers
1-3
Last Week: 25
Change: -1
I hope they found themselves in the week off. 2 of 3 of their division rivals were victorious, which now puts them in last place.
27
Panthers
1-4
Last Week: 23
Change: -4
I don’t see an internal fix. I think they need to look externally to improve. (Bring in Terrell Owens and Ochocinco)
28
Titans
1-4
Last week: 27
Change: -1
Chris Johnson has run out of gas, and the defense couldn’t STOP a runaway shopping cart.
29
Raiders
1-3
Last Week: 29
Change: –
This team is BAD, real BAD, Michael Jackson.
30
Chiefs
1-4
Last week: 26
Change: -4
Physical injuries have ruled their last few seasons. Sunday’s act from their fans has brought about mental injury.
31
Jaguars
1-4
Last week: 30

(Read my comments at #29, and apply, times 2)
32
Browns
0-5
Last Week: 32

One more close loss, and a Jacksonville defeat, and I’m moving this team up in the ranks at least by 1.

STUDS OF THE WEEK: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS. This was a monster win for Indy. A team in rebuilding mode, and to pull out an impressive combat win, and show a good defensive front against the likes of Aaron Rodgers. Coach Chuck Pagano had to be grinning from ear to ear.

DUDS OF THE WEEK: GREEN BAY PACKERS. If I’m going to praise one team for their tough victory, I have to criticize the other for their defeat. Green Bay looked like the young, rebuilding team on Sunday. What is going on with this team?
