Falcons

Good time to be on a “bye”.
2
Texans
6-1
Last Week: 2

Impressive win over Baltimore this week. The Ravens “D” is depleted, but even Houston’s “D” proved tough against a good offense.
3
Giants
5-2
Last Week: 4
Change: +1
Every season they seem to get in a mode where they refuse to lose. This season, it clicked on early.
4
Bears
5-1
Last Week: 5
Change: +1
We know their defense is always strong, but when their offense can flow the way it has been, watch out!
5
49ers
5-2
Last Week: 6
Change: +1
I knew the Seattle game would be a tough battle, but the Niners are on the edge of decline lately.
6
Ravens
5-2
Last Week: 3
Change: -3
Can’t penalize them too much for losing to the best team in the AFC, but they definitely have some worries now that they can’t depend as heavily on their defense.
7
Packers
4-3
Last Week: 7
Change: –
Once again, their “O” can outscore any team. If, and when, they face a defense who can contain them, they are in trouble.
8
Patriots
4-3
Last Week: 8
Change: –
Their defense can even make Mark Sanchez look good.
9
Vikings
5-2
Last Week: 9
Change: –
I wish I would’ve believe Adrian Peterson when he said he would be back at the start of the season, and better than ever.
10
Broncos
3-3
Last Week: 12
Change: +2
When they don’t spot the other team 21+ points and an entire half, they can beat anyone with Peyton at the helm.
11
Steelers
3-3
Last Week: 13
Change: +2
Whose “D” is getting old? Whose “O” can’t carry a game?
12
Seahawks
4-3
Last Week: 10
Change: -2
Even in defeat, the Seahawks are not just some push-over. They stay within victory of every game.
13
Eagles
3-3
Last Week: 14
Change: +1
Forget resting, they hopefully worked on TURNOVERS during their bye week.
14
Cardinals
4-3
Last Week: 11
Change: -3
I don’t think Skelton or Kolb is the answer, but the QB position is the problem.
15
Cowboys
3-3
Last Week: 18
Change: +3
Their division is not out of reach, but a cohesive team effort seems to be.
16
Chargers
3-3
Last Week: 16
Change: –
This is the season where there is other competition in the AFC West, and we see just how fragile this team is.
17
Dolphins
3-3
Last Week: 17
Change: –
Idle week, two division foes faced off, and they are still where they need to be to contend.
18
Redskins
3-4
Last Week: 15
Change: -3
I respect the closeness of their losses….BUT they are still losses. RGIII is the “real deal”.
19
Rams
3-4
Last Week: 19
Change: –
They still find ways to stay close in games. Can’t punish them but so much for losing in a shootout against Aaron Rodgers.
20
Lions
2-4
Last Week: 21
Change: +1
They aren’t losing against slouches. Just look at their division.
21
Jets
3-4
Last Week: 22
Change: -1
They look like a better team after losing their best defensive and offensive players for the season.
22
Bengals
3-4
Last Week: 20
Change: -2
They are still very talented on both sides of the ball. The problem is really with their play calling.
23
Saints
2-4
Last Week: 25
Change: +2
Who would’ve ever imagined that Saints fan would celebrate and sweat out a 2-game winning streak.
24
Colts
3-3
Last Week: 27
Change: +3
What I love about them (and the ‘Skins) is that it proves one player can make a difference.
25
Titans
3-4
Last Week: 26
Change: +1
In Chris Johnson we trust.
26
Buccaneers
2-4
Last Week: 24
Change: -2
We can’t continue to reward them for close loses.
27
Bills
3-4
Last Week: 23
Change: -4
Injuries, injuries, injuries.
28
Raiders
2-4
Last week: 29
Change: +1
I don’t know how excited you can get about a close win against Jacksonville, but in a league where you get 16 games to prove yourself, 1 win can go a long way.
29
Panthers
1-5
Last Week: 28
Change: -1
No one in the organization has answers, except Cam Newton. And all his answers are blaming anyone, other than himself.
30
Chiefs
1-5
Last week: 30
Change: –
Idle week, so they couldn’t do any damage. But the QB change this week shows that they know they need change.
31
Browns
1-6
Last week: 31
Change: –
I thought they were headed into the right direction. Against a young Colts team was the time to prove it.
32
Jaguars
1-5
Last Week: 32

Change: –

They had a close loss against another pitiful team. Nothing to get excited about.

STUDS OF THE WEEK: HOUSTON TEXANS. They had an impressive victory against Baltimore last week. Of course, the Ravens took a big hit on defense with the loss of Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb, but that still doesn’t excuse their offense from being lack-luster against the Texans’ defense.

DUDS OF THE WEEK: BALTIMORE RAVENS. (See above) Forget all the Joe Flacco talk. The Ravens won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at QB. They need Flacco to NOT lose games for them, but they need a heavy dose of Ray Rice in order to win games.
